R. John Wright, internationally renowned doll and teddy bear artist, has created a spectacular one-of-a-kind teddy bear for GBW Fundraising in 2007.

Voyager stands 23 inches tall and is made from the finest wavy mohair plush with felt paw pads and inserted resin claws. His face features colored glass pupil eyes, a molded leather nose, sculptured detailing and airbrushed coloration.

Like Good Bears of the World, Voyager is a true world traveler. He is outfitted in a Great Coat made of the finest all-wool felt which is fully lined in pure aqua-colored silk. The coat and matching hat are embellished with gilt braid and brass buttons. The coat is appliquéd with continents of the world with embroidered lines of latitude and longitude. The Antarctic Circle is positioned on the top of Voyager's hat!

Voyager is currently on display at the Toy and Miniature Museum of Kansas City, MO. He will be sold to the highest bidder at a special benefit auction by Theriaults - the world's leader in the auction of antique and collectible dolls - in conjunction with the 2007 National United Federation of Doll Clubs Convention in Detroit, MI
